As a Manager at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Mobility, Defense and advanced Industrials Practice (MDI) as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. The MDI Practice integrates all the capabilities of the end-to-end mobility value chain. From innovative product design to complex engineering infrastructure, our industries represent the backbone of the global economy.
Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will work alongside our clients to define and implement strategies that will deliver both short-term results and longer-term competitiveness in this ever-changing market environment.
Through unique hands-on experiences, you will broaden your knowledge across a breadth of topics while developing relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. In addition, we look for individuals with the following experience or qualities:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- MBA degree preferred with 8+ years of professional experience.
- Experience working as a Management Consultant required.
- Experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
- Passion for leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
- Experience working in or alongside clients in the following industries:
- Industrial Products
- Automotive
- Aerospace & Defense
- Transportation
- Infrastructure
- Experience with Industrial products preferred incl. machinery, manufacturing, and equipment.
- Functional expertise in Strategic Operations preferred.
- Be located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., or Toronto.
- English fluency

Manager Compensation - $212,000 - $235,000: It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
