Application Integration Specialist 

Location: Warsaw, Poland

PACT is Kearney’s digital solution to enable end-to-end workforce transformation – consolidating all client people data into one platform to drive immediate insights. PACT helps leaders answer the critical people questions needed to transform their organization. PACT can currently provide:

·       FOUNDATION data for the client to understand the cost and profile of their workforce

·    SIGNAL information when benchmarks are drawn in and compared to client data to give indications of potential areas of improvement

·       DIAGNOSE activities to survey either competency levels or functional task mapping

·       PLAN forecasts to interrogate historical demand and project future workforce needs

·       DESIGN functionality to visualize organisational charts and interactively build future scenarios

·     TRANSITION monitoring to understand personnel fit to new roles, and track the fulfilment of people placement during a re-structuring

·       SUSTAIN highlights, analyzing change statistics to pinpoint areas where further activation training or events are required 

What we seek

Kearney is seeking a skilled and experienced Application Integration Specialist to join our PACT team. As an Application Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integration solutions between various software applications and systems within our organization. Your expertise in middleware technologies, data mapping, and API management will be critical to ensuring efficient data exchange and process automation.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

·   Integration Strategy: develop and execute a comprehensive application integration strategy, aligning with business requirements and objectives. Identify integration opportunities to optimize data flow and enhance business processes.

·      Middleware Implementation: design and implement middleware solutions for connecting disparate applications and systems. Leverage integration platforms, such as ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) or iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), to facilitate smooth communication and data exchange.

·    API Management: establish and manage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to enable seamless integration and interactions between applications. Ensure security, authentication, and access control measures are in place.

·       Data Mapping and Transformation: define data mapping rules and transformations between different data formats to enable accurate data exchange and synchronization across applications.

·   Troubleshooting and Support: provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for integration-related issues. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to diagnose and resolve integration challenges.

·   Integration Testing: conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to validate functionality, data accuracy, and system performance. Implement automated testing processes for regression testing.

·   Documentation: create detailed technical documentation, including integration specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

·   Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and system administrators, to ensure successful integration of applications and alignment with business needs.

·      Performance Optimization: continuously monitor and optimize integration processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

·       Stay Current with Technology Trends: keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in application integration. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance integration capabilities.

The following qualifications are preferred:  

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

·       Proven experience (5 years) as an Application Integration Specialist and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, View JS, Go JS, Python and Flask Framework

·       Strong knowledge of middleware technologies, such as ESB, iPaaS, or API management platforms

·       Proficiency in data mapping and transformation techniques

·       Experience with integration tools and technologies, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM Integration Bus, etc.

·       Familiarity with various data exchange protocols, such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML

·       Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

·       Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality integration solutions

·       Experience with cloud-based integration solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

·    Knowledge of enterprise systems, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications

·       Knowledge on Gen AI, NLP, ML is a plus
