Job Description

Kearney is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our Southeast Asia (SEA) operations as a Proposal Analyst, based out of Jakarta, Indonesia. This role demands a confident communicator with a tenacious and diligent work ethic, capable of working autonomously while collaborating virtually with internal SEA teams and global staff.

This role starts with a 6-month contract, with the exciting possibility of extending to 12 months based on your performance. Plus, it’s a full-time, on-site position, so you’ll be right in the heart of the action!

Job responsibilities:

Proposal Support

  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding of their business needs.
  • Attend tender meetings and capture detailed notes for internal reporting.
  • Summarize and synthesize Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions by preparing administrative documents, gathering necessary internal materials, tracking deadlines, and most importantly – proactively determining appropriate actions, including monitoring pending items and do follow-ups.
  • Effectively program manage the proposal submission process, identifying and raising potential risks of non-compliance or the inability to meet deadlines.
  • Register and maintain eProcurement accounts.
  • Scan for potential tenders and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather required information for proposal submissions.
  • Work directly with clients to clarify requirements, address questions, and manage inquiries during the proposal process.
  • Assist in maintaining contracts and legal documents.

Qualifications

Qualifications & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree any background (a law graduate is a plus)
  • Preferable 3 to 4 years of organizational experience, preferably in administration, business development, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Experience in managing events (corporate event management experience is a plus)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Must be highly customer service oriented and technologically savvy.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, demonstrate good judgment, prioritize, and exhibit sound judgment.
  • Attention to detail, meticulous, thorough, and have a proactive working attitude is a must.
  • Experience working with deadline-based projects.
  • Proficient in contract reviewing.
  • Exposure in working with BUMN (state-owned enterprises) is strongly preferred.
