Kearney’s Super Case Competition, lead by the Digital Case Bootcamp will give you the opportunity to:

  • Learn
    - Obtain more hands-on experience on what it is to be a consultant
    - Get the chance to ask as many questions as you need
  • Interact
    - Simulate the consulting working environment
    - Network with: Kearney consultants and recruiters & other students
  • Grow
    - Get feedback on your case performance
    - Feel better prepared for the upcoming consulting interviews

Candidates who are shortlisted to participate in the Digital Case Bootcamp will automatically be invited to the Kearney Johannesburg Flagship event - the Super Case Competition. 

Winners of the Super Case Competition will be guaranteed first round interviews! 

All students from:

  • University of Witwatersrand (WITS)
  • WITS Business School (WBS)
  • Gordon Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS)
  • University of Cape Town (UCT)
  • University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (GSB)
  • Stellenbosch University (SUN)
  • University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB);

graduating in 2021 are welcome to apply by 16 April at 11 PM, local time.

We are looking for talented problem-solvers with intellectual curiosity who are ready to be active members of a team. Contestants are expected to contribute ideas and opinions to successfully solve the case.  Qualification criteria include:

  • A proven record of academic excellence with either undergrad degree and/or postgraduate degree;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities;
  • An innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving;
  • Natural self-direction, with the ability to operate in ambiguity;
  • Eagerness to collaborate, and help proactively with solving the case; and
  • PowerPoint Skills
