About the Role

The Experienced Hire Recruiter will be primarily responsible for hiring qualified candidates for consulting positions across Industry and Service Practices at the Analyst, Associate, and Manager levels. This role will also have managerial responsibilities for 2-3 Talent Sourcer & Recruiting Assistants on the team. The Recruiting teams at Kearney are highly collaborative and the Experienced Hire Recruiter may also have the opportunity to take on Campus, Senior hire, or Corporate recruitment efforts based on individual capacity, personal interest, and business needs. Flexibility and agility to support varying priorities as well as a desire to grow and develop is key.

Responsibilities

Planning, Organizing and Execution

  • Partner with Practice leadership to develop sourcing strategies to identify top talent 
  • Screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout recruitment process
  • Actively build candidate pipelines and also provide direction to Talent Sourcer & Recruiting Assistant for additional support in building and maintaining candidate pipelines
  • Contribute to the execution of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Recruiting strategy, ensuring goals and objectives are met
  • Manage, coach, and develop 2-3 Talent Sourcer & Recruiting Assistants
  • Oversee team members responsible for interview logistics, candidate travel (as needed), debrief scheduling, and offer paperwork extension
  • Develop offers in line with Kearney guidelines and candidate expectations and play an active role in offer negotiation and close
  • Actively participate and engage on strategic projects
  • Contribute to building the Kearney employment brand
  • Stay on top of market and competitive trends
  • Assist Recruiting Managers and Director with other recruiting efforts such as Senior, Campus, and/or Corporate as well as support the People Experience team with broader efforts, as needed

Relationship Development

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and senior stakeholders
  • Build relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Liaise with external recruiting firms as needed and develop list of go-to contacts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Diversity partner organizations

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-6 years of work experience in recruiting, with 1-2 years of agency recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience managing or supervising team members
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through creative methods - including research, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and job postings
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Stellar interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Motivated team player
  • Ability to work independently on self-directed basis
  • Able to manage competing demands while maintaining adaptability and flexibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking system and virtual interviewing platform is a plus; strong preference for Taleo experience
  • Some travel may be required on an as needed basis, and ability to come into the office once a week for team meetings is preferable but not required
