Job Description

As a Senior Solution Architect within Kearney Activate in the Connected Planning Practice, you will lead the design and delivery of end to end Anaplan solutions that replace legacy, home grown planning processes with scalable, best in class models. You will partner closely with clients to understand complex business requirements, architect thoughtful planning solutions, and guide implementations from initial scoping through deployment and adoption.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, and technology, combining deep hands on Anaplan expertise with strong consulting and client facing skills. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, independently managing engagements while mentoring and developing model builders across project teams. Through technical leadership, functional insight, and collaborative delivery, you will drive measurable impact across enterprise planning initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business' home-grown solutions into best-in-class Anaplan models 

  • Lead end-to-end Anaplan Implementations - identifying requirements, defining scope, architecting solutions, developing optimized models, documenting processes, and training product owners 

  • Mentor, develop, and coach junior and senior model builders through daily activities 

Who You Are

  • You bring Anaplan Level 3 certification and are a Certified Anaplan Solution Architect.

  • You bring 3+ years of experience implementing Anaplan as a Model Builder, including at least 1 year in a Solutions Architect role.

  • You possess 3+ years of experience in business consulting, including requirements definition, business analysis, and delivery of end to end client facing solutions using Anaplan Agile methodologies.

  • You offer experience across multiple industries, with exposure to 2–3 markets such as Energy, Finance, or related domains.

  • You demonstrate expert level proficiency in Excel, including advanced spreadsheet modeling, pivot tables, and formulas.

  • You bring hands on experience in FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management, Sales Performance Management, Sales and Operations Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.

  • You serve as a primary point of contact for clients, independently managing communications and engagements.

Base Salary: $130k-$190k. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.  In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
