About the job
As a Technical Analyst for our Dubai office, you will be supporting all employees to utilise the standard technology of the firm in successfully delivering “immediate impact and growing advantage” for our clients.
Reporting directly to the KNET MEA Regional Manager in Dubai, you will be given the freedom to be yourself along with recognition for what you bring to the table, allowing you make a real impact and be a true Kearney Original.
Key responsibilities
Maintenance
• Repair of standard hardware and software;
• Standard software installation and support;
• PC setup and configuration;
• Backups of Kearney laptops;
• Server/network support;
• Contact for outside vendors;
• KnowledgeNet representative and technical contact for the Office manager and local A.T. Kearney staff at any office or remote location (eg client, airport, hotel, home);
• Orientation of new users;
• Level Two escalation follow-up for Global Help Desk.
Asset Management tasks
• Ensure that all PC-related equipment orders are correctly approved for New Hires, reflected in appropriate finance plans and processed using the KNet procurement and asset management application – TrackIT.
• Review and process invoices for equipment and services (eg fixed and mobile telecom, hardware, hardware repairs, and peripherals).
• Ensure Delivery Notes and serial numbers are correctly processed and liaise for correct entries into Asset Register. Liaise with Finance IEM team regarding any IT-related expense items.
• Ensure correct processing of asset replacement, at end of lifecycle or hardware failure.
• Implement local asset disposal policy, which may include sale of old assets to staff, or disposal via local market or charity, as agreed with local Finance and Unit Leadership.
• Liaise with local HR and Finance to correctly process Terminations and Transfers to ensure all assets are returned before an employee departs;
• Verify assets are accounted for by checking the asset management database, TrackIT.
• Confirm that all related assets are correctly returned.
• Consistent with its fast-paced dynamic environment, it is a vital role of any TA to ensure that a KNet customer is returned to live operations with the mimimum possible cycle-time. This will require asset loan/shell swaps, on occasions.
• Be prudent when lending assets. If needed, TrackIT must be immediately updated;
• Changing ownership of an asset is done through Track IT.
• Ensure correct completion of Lost Asset Report and local police report as appropriate;
• Consider data and information security issues, related to client confidentiality, data integrity and data availability
• Hold spares of each model for a “hot swap” process. Track spares correctly in TrackIT. Minimise spares holdings, based on experience and value for money.
• Maintain efficient supply of peripherals (i.e. cables, mice, mouse pads, power supplies, screen-filters).
Non Employees/Contractors
- KEARNEY hires Associated Consultants, Contractors and other temporary staff, who do not appear on the A.T. KEARNEY payroll and do not have HR-issued Employee IDs. This category of A.T. KEARNEY staff is known as “Non-A.T. KEARNEY” and have “Non-A.T. KEARNEY network IDs.
- If a Non-Employee requires an asset and network connectivity, a Confidentiality Agreement must be signed by the Non-A.T. KEARNEY person and sponsored by an Officer of the firm, via the “Officer Sign-Off form.
Additional tasks include
• Non-standard software and hardware installation;
• High-level user training;
• User orientation, onboarding;
• Office refurbishment and relocation – planning, implementation, review;
• Troubleshooting overhead projector units;
• Troubleshooting electronic white boards;
• PC equipment moves;

· Have a university degree or equivalent in a related field
· Hold 3+ years’ experience in a professional services or other corporate institutions. Preferably experience working across an international team.
· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic;
· Possess excellent organizational skills;
· Have proven customer service skills;
· Are committed to collaborative operations as part of a global team, with a regional and local focus;
· Have ability to be proactive in a fast-paced environment
· Have working knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows 10, 11;
· Have working knowledge of Windows Server, 2008, 2012;
· Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013, 2016, Office365 with a particular focus on MS Exchange and MS Outlook;
· Have working knowledge of AT Kearney standard software and hardware that includes Microsoft tools, Lenovo and Apple hardware;
· Possess proven problem solving skills;
· Have working knowledge of high level networking (routers, switches, connectivity);
· Have working knowledge of TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS.
