Kearney, ME Client Finance Coordinator

 

     About the job 

As a Client Finance Coordinator within Kearney’s Dubai office, you will play a vital role in supporting the Client Finance team with the day-to-day financial processes that underpin project delivery and reporting. Reporting to the Client Finance Manager and guided by a Senior Analyst, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, supporting pipeline and reporting cycles, and assisting with billing, reconciliations, and cash management. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive to support across a variety of finance and operation tasks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Staffing, HR, Legal, and Office Management, and work closely with finance colleagues across Dubai, South Africa, and Turkey.

The ME Client Finance team consists of 8 members, with ME Finance consisting of 26 members.

Key responsibilities        

  • Ensure complete and accurate tracking of potential sales opportunities in SAP in collaboration with project leadership

  • Provide pre- and post-qualification support for client and project financials.

  • Manage incoming cash allocations and ensure accurate posting to the correct projects.

  • Support audit processes by preparing data, reconciliations, and documentation.

  • Complete WIP/AR balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.

  • Perform travel expense coding.

  •  Produce and distribute daily financial reports.

  • Produce and distribute weekly Wins report.

  • Assist with incoming cash forecasting, including data extraction, uploads, and reconciliations.

  •  Perform data refreshes and updates for multiple Client Finance processes and dashboard reporting.

  • Provide client invoice processing support during peak or busy periods.

  • Take ownership of expense recharges, matching transactions to the general ledger (GL), tracking recharges through to completion and ensuring reflection on the project.

  •  Deliver ad hoc financial and operational support.

We want to hear from you if you: 

  • Have A-levels or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

  • Have 2-4 years’ experience in finance, commercial operations, or a similar function. Consulting or professional services industry background is a plus.

  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

  • Are proficient in Excel and comfortable handling large data sets.

  • Have experience with financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, PowerBI) is advantageous.

  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Have ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.

  • Have previous experience in a finance, billing, or client support role is desirable.
