Reporting Line

Reports to: HR Manager – Southeast Asia

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. You are comfortable balancing strategic conversations with day-to-day execution, and you know how to bring structure, judgment, and follow-through to complex people matters.

You likely bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • 7–9 years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally in a multinational or professional services environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment legislation; exposure to Thailand and Philippines employment practices is an advantage.

  • Experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and business partnering.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical capability and comfort working with Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS platforms, and workforce data.

  • Exposure to HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working, with the ability to identify how tech and AI can improve HR service delivery, insight generation, and employee experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across levels and locations.

  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

What does your day-to-day look like?

Country HR leadership and business partnership

  • Serve as the Country HR Lead for Indonesia and help ensure effective HR delivery for the Bangkok and Manila offices.

  • Partner with Office Managing Partners and business leaders to execute people priorities in line with business needs.

  • Provide guidance to local office support teams and help maintain consistency in HR practices across markets.

  • Act as a credible point of contact on people matters, balancing business priorities, employee needs, and firm standards.

  • Partner with leaders and other related functions (e.g. Staffing & Operations) on workforce planning, talent acquisition priorities, and onboarding execution (with Office Services).

  • Help deliver a strong candidate and new-joiner experience that reflects Kearney’s people standards and employer brand.

HR operations, employee lifecycle, and compliance

  • Oversee employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, performance processes, compensation processes, employee relations, and offboarding.

  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies.

  • Manage HR vendors, systems, documentation, and reporting with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and operational reliability.

  • Help resolve employee issues thoughtfully, professionally, and in partnership with relevant leaders.

  • Support consistent execution of core annual HR processes and help maintain a high-quality employee experience across the markets in scope.

Regional projects, reporting and continuous improvement

  • Lead or support regional HR initiatives, technology implementation, and process standardization efforts.

  • Use data, systems, and emerging AI-enabled tools to improve HR processes, reporting quality, and team effectiveness where appropriate.

  • Analyze workforce metrics and provide insight on recruitment, headcount, and attrition trends.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify ways of working and improve HR service delivery across the region.

  • Help role model practical and thoughtful use of technology and AI within the HR team and across other corporate/support functions.

  • Contribute to a more scalable, consistent, and employee-centered HR operating model across Southeast Asia.
