As Sr. Engineer at Kearney, you will contribute to consulting project teams as they offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. The Bengaluru engineering team builds and maintains the Velocity platform suite — powering PERLab’s global consulting engagements with AI-driven intelligence.

Key responsibilities

An individual contributor who executes and delivers projects for our clients
Analyzing & Technical delivery of projects on passenger & Commercial vehicles with primary focus on electric power train including e-motor, inverter, gearbox, driveline, thermals and regenerative braking interfaces.
Define system and subsystem requirements based on vehicle performance, efficiency, range, durability, packaging, and safety targets
Analyze EV power train architecture across battery, controls, thermal, chassis, vehicle integration and suggest potential improvement opportunities with strong backing
Carry out Value Engineering, and DfX analysis to optimize product design.
Execute technical ideation, technical concept/solution development, cost estimation & competitive benchmarking across EV’s and ICE platforms.
Supports project teams with business case input on benefit potential, investment costs, implementation timeline, etc.

Who you are:

We would like to hear from you if you have the following:

̶    Experience in EV powertrain system design and integration 
̶    Robust knowledge in Electric motor, inverter, BMS and driveline fundamentals 
̶    Experience in technical design proof of concept and carried out ideation workshops
̶    Functional safety and quality systems awareness
̶    Knowledge in different regulatory requirements and standards.
̶    Thermal, efficiency, NVH, and durability assessment 
̶    Minimum 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
̶    Master/Bachelor’s in mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent
̶    Excellent communication skills
̶    Analytically inclined and enjoy solving problems
̶    Able to prioritize and are a doer by nature
̶    International exposure, an added advantage
