Our Data & AI business line bridges strategy, technology, and execution to deliver data-driven, AI-enabled, and cloud-powered transformations. We partner with leading platforms such as Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks and Nvidia to help organizations build trusted data foundations, deploy intelligent solutions, and scale innovation.
We operate across four key focus areas:
- Advisory & Assurance Services: Driving strategy, governance, and change management to ensure impactful transformation.
- Data Services: Building trusted, high-quality data foundations using Agentic AI across engineering, architecture, and governance.
- Insights Services: Unlocking value through analytics, data science, and AI-driven storytelling for better decision-making.
- Asset Services: Developing reusable GenAI assets, accelerators, and AI-powered solutions that push the boundaries of innovation.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst within Kearney Activate, you will help translate business requirements into structured, actionable deliverables that support successful implementation and operational effectiveness. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, product owners, and technical teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise data and Master Data Management (MDM) transformation initiatives across process, data, and technology workstreams
- Translate business discussions and stakeholder requirements into structured, high-quality business and functional deliverables
- Develop content supporting various MDM request types and workflows
- Maintain and update master data attribute files and related governance documentation
- Ensure alignment between business process designs, system requirements, and UI/screens
- Partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and design leads to gather, refine, and document requirements
- Provide clear, actionable inputs to development teams responsible for system configuration and build activities
- Support agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing coordination, and delivery tracking
- Track key project metrics, business trends, and delivery progress
- Support leadership in preparing materials for workshops, working sessions, and key decision meetings
Who you are
- 4–7 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, data analysis, MDM, or related transformation roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, iterative delivery environments
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and balance multiple priorities
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting enterprise data management or Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives preferred
- Comfortable leveraging modern AI tools and technologies to drive efficiency and improve workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field required
- Experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics/reporting tools preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, workflow tools, and data governance processes preferred
The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
