The Experienced Hire Senior Recruiter will lead the hiring of qualified consultants for experienced and senior-level roles across the firm, while also managing recruitment for select non-consulting positions. This role operates across multiple recruiting workstreams and requires a high degree of flexibility and agility to support evolving priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with Recruiting leadership and Partners to identify top talent and build strong candidate pipelines.
Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate management, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
Provide coaching and direction to Recruiting team members engaged in sourcing, pipeline development, and interview coordination.
Oversee logistics management, including interview scheduling, candidate travel, debrief coordination, and offer paperwork.
Develop competitive offers aligned with Kearney guidelines and candidate expectations, lead offer negotiation and close.
Expand and execute inclusive recruiting strategies.
Monitor market intelligence and competitive trends to refine sourcing approaches and hiring recommendations.
Drive strategic Recruiting projects and contribute to firm-building activities, including strengthening the Kearney employment brand.
Support Recruiting Managers and the Director in meeting hiring needs across functions, practices, and region.
Stakeholder & Candidate Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Hiring Managers, Practice Leaders, Partners, and Regional Leadership to ensure alignment of talent needs.
Cultivate long-term candidate relationships and ensure an exceptional, personalized candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Liaise with external recruiting firms when needed and maintain a roster of trusted advisors and search partners.
Develop and sustain relationships with internal resource groups to support and enhance recruiting initiatives.

We want to hear from you if you:
Hold a bachelor’s degree.
Bring 10+ years of recruiting experience, including both in-house and executive search.
Have led recruiting efforts within a professional services environment.
Have directly managed, mentored, and developed junior team members.
Demonstrate strong sourcing capabilities across research, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other creative channels.
Possess strong organizational, analytical, communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
Can work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
Can manage competing priorities with adaptability and flexibility.
Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have experience with applicant tracking systems; familiarity with virtual interviewing platforms is a plus,
Can work from the Chicago office at least once per week and travel occasionally.

Experienced Hire Senior Recruiter compensation range: $110k–130k. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
