About the job
As the Working Capital Assistant in our Riyadh office, you will be supporting the local leadership and consultants with a focus predominantly on the Middle East region. You will be responsible for supporting the Accounts receivable, Working Capital, and other ad-hoc areas when the need arises.
Reporting directly to the Head of Collections with a dotted line to the Collections Team Lead. The position also works closely with Finance teams in Dubai, South Africa, Turkey, London, and Chicago; as well as other local functions such as HR, Staffing, Office Management, and Legal.
You will be part of the ME Finance team consisting of 26 members.
Key responsibilities
· Meet both private and government representatives to resolve any queries to receive our payment in a timely manner
· Working with our internal project teams to understand how you can support them in collecting
· outstanding AR’s
· Understanding and implementing the steps/processes on both the client portals and the Etimad portal to ensure a smooth process
· Join working capital calls with the partners/principals to understand their project, support Working Capital and provide updates
· Collating all administrative documents needed by the client to process our invoices/set us up as a vendor in the client’s portal.
Accounting:
· Builds relationships with both client and government officials to assist in cash collections
· Working with Kearney project teams to understand the client/job and support them where required
· Assists in providing information to the client finance team on collections so they can prepare the
· cashflow forecast for the region to head office
· Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies as well as regulatory and statutory requirements.
· Assistance with internal/external audits around all areas where necessary, and generally to support
· their peers
· Reviews and contributes ideas to improve internal policies around collections

We want to hear from you if you:
· Have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Progress toward or
· completion of a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is preferred.
· Have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Professional services industry experience desirable
· Have a strong knowledge of Working Capital cycle and WIP/AR accounting
· Possess strong excel skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Arabic is a
· MUST.
· Are commercially minded and are willing to be hands on
· Have strong organization skills
· Strong administration skills to articulate and report back to leadership
· Are a team player, but has the ability to work independently
· Highly motivated with an eye for detail
· Have the ability to challenge the clients around the outstanding AR and resolve any issues
