Are you a bright, motivated, and curious student who is interested in a fast-paced and stimulating career in Consulting?

Kearney London is opening our £2,000 Black@Kearney Scholarship Programme to support students of Black heritage in their penultimate year of university on their journey into Consulting.

Kearney’s commitment

At Kearney, we seek to encourage and inspire exceptional Black students, and we have pledged to increase and accelerate the intake and representation of Black employees across our firm. We commit to be the difference and lead by example, using our voice, power, and resources to act.

This scholarship is sponsored by Black@Kearney, a network of Black employees and allies aiming to create real change for Black people, both within our firm and in the wider community.

What is the Black@Kearney Scholarship Programme?

This is a 2-part programme that offers a full-day case challenge with the potential of a year-long mentorship & scholarship programme.

On the day (Thursday 21st March): Case challenge

You will get the chance to learn from Kearney consultants on how to tackle real-world consulting cases, including the tips & tricks and best practices. You will then work collaboratively in teams to solve a case and present to a set of judges – individuals who perform well throughout the day will then be offered to join the scholarship programme.

Afterwards (April 2024 – March 2025): Scholarship programme

The scholarship offers a year-long mentorship programme which aims to equip you with the right skillset for the Consulting industry, and a financial stipend of £2,000 to support your university life.

This programme will give you access to our Kearney resources and a dedicated Kearney Mentor. You will be offered:

  • 1:1 tailored mentoring support.
  • Access to the Kearney network and an opportunity to connect with employees from all backgrounds.
  • Coaching on the job application process, including CV skills and competency interview tips.
  • Case interview preparation support to successfully interview at Consulting firms.
  • A financial stipend of £2,000

If chosen, as a Black@Kearney scholar you will be expected to:

  • Act as an informal ambassador of Kearney at your university upholding our core values.
  • Support with the organisation of an event(s) at your university as required.
  • Assist with the promotion of the Black@Kearney Scholarship Programme.
