Role & Objective of this role:

 

We are seeking a self-driven, creative professional for a Senior Product Designer position, with extensive experience in crafting intuitive and engaging UI & UX journeys grounded in data visualizations that organize complex high volume data insights powered by AI/ML models, to solve customer needs and power decision-making at the executive level.

 

This role will play a key role in establishing design standards – Develop, standardize, maintain reusable design assets necessary for product success, which include, but are not limited to Stylesheets, branding elements, customer journeys, user flows, paper prototypes, sketches, wireframes, visual designs, clickthrough prototypes, research discussion guides, screeners, research insights, remote tests, and the resulting research reports.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute all stages of the design process, including Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test
  • Create design artifacts, including persona, journey maps, problem statements, system/user interaction mappings, wireframes, hi-fidelity prototypes, and mockups
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and collaborate with digital product managers, business partners and technology teams, to conduct user research and usability testing
  • Use the most relevant tools and technology for tasks to quickly deliver prototypes at differing levels of fidelities, identifying and refining design concepts through creative and technical insight
  • Push the boundaries of what’s possible for compelling user experiences that deliver on Kearney's vision of creating cutting edge digital solutions driven by data and analytic insights to convey impactful, meaningful, and interactive KPIs and business outcomes
  • Partner with design, engineering, brand, and research to establish, build, and maintain library of shared components and design elements from front-end design systems in terms of technology, versioning, and other requirements. Contribute to our Figma UI Kit by defining and standardizing reusable design patterns and components, including component design and evolution
  • Use a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. Analyzes data and client feedback in order to make critical design decisions
  • Lead multiple technology product solutions/platforms and support technology team development by overseeing the project teams on day-to-day operations of UI project deliverables, and problem resolution. Coordinates UI project schedules, assignments, and workflows
  • Help shape and continuously improve our design practices and assets, focused on standardization and reuse
  • Evaluates new technologies for fit and benefits, Acts as a though leader for technical teams
  • Assists in building collaborative, interdependent and cross-functional teams
  • Acts as an SME for a team of product designers. Coaches and mentors junior team members and supports their development

Essential Requirements:

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in product design, research, user interfaces and user journeys with at least 5+ years as UIUX designer, executing all stages of the design process, including Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test
  • Proficient with Figma design tool tools and Adobe Creative Suite or Invision or Sketch. Ability to learn new software quickly a plus; Proven experience developing ADA compliant designs
  • Proven experience working as a senior designer in a product organization, driving products from conception and ideation through launch and beyond over multiple releases over the course of a product lifecycle
  • A portfolio demonstrating great user-centered design solutions. Candidate should be able to reference/showcase the designs created
  • Demonstrable experience to work creatively through and around perceived limitations or challenges that are imposed by delivery platforms, creating delighting experiences for customers
  • Hands-on experience in HTML / CSS / JS
  • Experienced in testing UI elements such as CTAs, style sheets, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
  • Expert knowledge of the UI/UX design practices and concepts to create highly interactive interfaces, including rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to high-fidelity digital prototypes
  • Demonstrable Experience developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand, coaching, and mentoring others and providing SME support to produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards and site maps
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Designs, Interaction Design/UX or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Graphic Design and Applied Art, or a related field of study

Desirable Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in front-end technologies and frameworks: vue.js, Angular, react with experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Forms, Validations, Services, Data Object Models etc.
  • Basic technical knowledge of web-applications
  • Experience in any Content Management Systems
