Job Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure in a global consulting environment, balancing local market activation with regional campaign and practice marketing support. You’ll be part of the APAC marketing team, focused on Southeast Asia while having the opportunity to lead regional marketing for a practice.

We’re seeking a self-starter who combines creativity with strong executional skills and who can ideate, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for SEA marketing activities, developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns to raise our brand across key target audiences: current and prospective clients, employees, recruits, alumni, and media. You’ll work closely with the partner and consultant group in SEA and the APAC and global marketing team to build Kearney’s brand awareness and commercial effectiveness through integrated campaigns, including content, internal and external communications, social media & digital, events, and direct marketing.

The position requires a hands-on marketing and communications practitioner with an analytical and objective-based mindset. You will have the ability to connect the dots across SEA’s five markets – Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, identifying common themes, insights, and opportunities for cross-market visibility. This will require aligning activities to strategic priorities, proactively suggesting new strategies and working autonomously while collaborating with the wider team. This position reports to the APAC Head of Marketing.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and drive integrated, client-centric marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen Kearney’s brand presence in Southeast Asia and amplify core practice priorities across APAC.

- Responsible for a regional practice and drive connectivity and activation to connect the dots across APAC.

- A digital-first marketer who can build and operationalize a strategy for Kearney’s local media and social media/digital presence, including web, SEO/SEM, and email marketing

- Build strategic advisor relationships and build a close network of partners, principals and consulting managers to support success

- Drive content creation, including thought leadership development, capitalizing on white space and aligned to core topics and campaigns.

- Develop and implement distinctive in-person and virtual events such as client roundtables and webinars

- Work closely with other local and global teams (Digital, Web, Recruiting, Alumni) to support targeted marketing initiatives

- Coordinate with a PR agency, local vendors and a freelance network

- Advise partners on optimizing the use of budget, and aligning business objectives to marketing spend

Qualifications & experience:

Experience required:

- 8+ years of proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably with agency and management consulting experience

- Experience working and collaborating internationally, virtually and across time zones.

- Experience working on end-to-end marketing campaigns

- Experience in a partnership/matrix organisation/managing multiple stakeholders

Technical Skills:

- Analytical and impact-driven mindset – ability to derive insights from data to optimize campaigns, adjust performance-based strategies, and craft impact reporting for leadership.

- Strong project management skills, able to work independently and in teams to proactively drive strategic projects forward

- Strong digital marketer; SEO/SEM and google analytics certification a plus

- Experience with Salesforce and e-marketing platforms and demonstrate an ability to connect marketing to lead generation and conversion

Other Requirements:

- Storyteller with the ability to tell the Kearney brand story through different mediums, ensuring content captures key marketing messages and adheres to the Kearney tone of voice (real, refreshing, relatable)

- This role requires a creative, self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive strategic projects forward with little guidance

- A flexible attitude with a hard-working and results-driven mindset

- A strategic and strong project manager, able to work independently and in teams to create, manage, and meet deadlines

- Comfortable in a working environment where priorities can shift
