Key responsibilities:    

Kearney has an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team. Our HR Advisors play an integral role in the firm's operations and processes - from strategy and planning to implementation.

The HR Advisor works as a coach and advisor with leadership and staff, planning and implementing people processes and strategies for consultants and support staff. Primary responsibilities are in the areas of performance management, employee relations as well as policy and program creation and implementation.  This role will act as the HR lead for multiple US geographies and support our newest employees as they navigate the organization as well as senior leaders to set their People strategies.

  
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Act as a coach, and functional expert to leadership and employees

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR strategies and programs and lead implementation efforts

  • Compile, review and make recommendations by analyzing data across functional areas of HR

  • Support and lead diversity programs

  • Manage the performance management process, including managing timetables, communications and follow-up, working closely with review committee and senior leaders

  • Develop and modify ad hoc reports, analyses, HRIS queries, and presentations, using Excel and Powerpoint

  • Build and maintain strong relationships as a trusted HR advisor

  • An interest and curiosity of the business and consulting 

Knowledge and skills requirements:  

  •  At least 5-7 years of broad HR experience with at least 2 years in a HR business partner or generalist type role

  • Experience working in a professional services environment

  • Problem Solving capability with a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Demonstrated experience applying independent judgment on employee relations issues and understanding when to escalate to leadership.

  • Strong technical/analytical skills, e.g., ability to manipulate data in Excel and knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.

  • PowerPoint / Deck writing skills

  • Bachelor's degree and/or PHR
