Job Description

Kearney Activate Change Manager- Digital & Platform Transformations

About Kearney Activate

Kearney Activate is the business acceleration and enablement arm of Kearney Management Consulting, helping clients accelerate transformation through Data and AI.

Our Data & AI business line bridges strategy, technology, and execution to deliver data-driven, AI-enabled, and cloud-powered transformations. We partner with leading platforms such as Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks and Nvidia to help organizations build trusted data foundations, deploy intelligent solutions, and scale innovation.

We operate across four key focus areas:

  • Advisory & Assurance Services: Driving strategy, governance, and change management to ensure impactful transformation.

  • Data Services: Building trusted, high-quality data foundations using Agentic AI across engineering, architecture, and governance.

  • Insights Services: Unlocking value through analytics, data science, and AI-driven storytelling for better decision-making.
  • Asset Services: Developing reusable GenAI assets, accelerators, and AI-powered solutions that push the boundaries of innovation.

About the Role

We are seeking a Change Manager to support digital, platform, and AI transformation initiatives. Based in the United States, you will work closely with client stakeholders and delivery teams across North America, with regular collaboration across Europe and APAC as required.

This role is focused on end-to-end ownership of the change management work stream within consulting engagements. You will be responsible for shaping, planning, and delivering change approaches that drive adoption of solutions such as Salesforce, Anaplan, dashboards/reporting platforms, and AI-enabled tools.

The role combines structured change management execution with a core consulting skillset: stakeholder engagement, problem solving, workshop facilitation, and clear executive communication. You will adapt Kearney Activates existing change frameworks to client context, maturity, and objectives, rather than creating approaches from scratch.

Your Responsibilities

1. Change Strategy & Impact Assessment

  • Own the change management work stream end to end across client engagements.
  • Conduct change impact and readiness assessments across processes, roles, behaviors, and technology.
  • Identify stakeholder groups, assess impacts, and define targeted change strategies aligned to client context.
  • Tailor existing change frameworks, tools, and templates to suit client needs, scale, and delivery approach.

2. Stakeholder Engagement, Communications & Adoption

  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans to support adoption of new platforms and ways of working.
  • Design and deliver change-related workshops, interviews, and playback sessions with client teams and leadership.
  • Partner with client leaders and sponsors to support effective change sponsorship and decision-making.
  • Actively manage resistance and risks to adoption, identifying mitigation actions and escalation where required.

3. Enablement, Training & Go-Live Support

  • Define and execute training and enablement approaches aligned to the solution being delivered (e.g. Salesforce, Anaplan, dashboards, AI tools).
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure training content and materials align with solution design and user needs.
  • Support go-live planning, hyper care activities, and post-implementation reinforcement to embed change.
  • Track and monitor adoption risks and issues during and after deployment.

4. Delivery Collaboration & Consulting Execution

  • Work closely with teams to ensure change activities are integrated into overall project plans.
  • Collaborate with project and program leads to manage dependencies, risks, and timelines related to change.
  • Own high-quality client deliverables, including change strategies, plans, communications, and executive materials.
  • Translate complex technology and delivery concepts into clear, people-focused narratives for business stakeholders.

5. Business Development & Practice Contribution

  • Support business development activities, including proposal inputs, change approach design, and effort estimation.
  • Contribute to internal assets, accelerators, and best practices related to change management in digital and platform transformations.
  • Share learnings across engagements to continuously improve change delivery approaches.
