Kearney Global Alliances Operations Lead

Job Description

As a member of Kearney's Corporate Development team, the Alliance team plays a vital role in executing our strategy and delivering greater client value through innovative partnerships. In this position, you will be instrumental in supporting Kearney's growth strategy by fostering and managing strategic alliances, driving high visibility of alliances across the firm, developing and advising teams on best practices, and shaping commercial opportunities.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in strategy consulting and alliance/partnership management to help us achieve our ambitious growth objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with top leaders, including the Head of Global Alliances and the Head of Corporate Development, in a highly visible and impactful position within the firm. 

Key responsibilities 

·       Alliances performance management & governance

o   Collaborate with alliance management teams to measure and monitor alliance performance and impact

o   Develop leadership communications to report impact

o   Identify and implement improvements to metrics and reporting (including migration to Salesforce)

o   Provide oversight and coordination to Alliance evaluation pipeline and screening process (including refreshing the process and tools to manage the pipeline)

o   Coordinate with alliance leads to ensure accurate and timely tracking of activities within partner portals where applicable

·       Alliance Portfolio & Knowledge Management

o   Maintain firm-wide alliance portfolio, ensuring single source of truth

o   Act as central point of contact, coordination and expertise across firm wide alliance portfolio

o   Manage and maintain Alliance Portfolio knowledge base including curation and creation of knowledge assets (e.g. Case library, alliance overviews) and coordinating with Knowledge Managers to ensure high visibility across Service practices

·       Market activation and account planning

o   Support cross-alliance account (client) planning to generate joint opportunities with alliances

o   Work with market Activation teams to establish and manage of priority account team reviews

o   Develop insights and recommendations matching up client needs with alliance-based offerings and solutions for joint business development

·       Internal awareness & enablement

o   Proactively develop strategies and plan for visibility of Alliances across the firm including, but not limited to (SharePoint, internal ‘newsletters’, participation on leadership calls, etc.)

o   Maintain and create content for Alliance SharePoint and other internal communications mechanisms

o   Work closely with communications team to ensure representation in practice and regional communications and events

o   Collaborate with alliance leads to identify learning and enablement opportunities

o   Maintain and execute against plan

·       Marketing

o   Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute a high impact external marketing strategy for alliances including website, publications and events

o   Bring creative thinking to establishing joint market presence with alliances

·       Corporate Development & Alliance team program management

o   Lead annual planning process and reviews for Alliance team

o   Lead and facilitate team meetings and progress updates (across Corporate Development), fostering team collaboration, culture and connectedness across virtual global team

o   Prepare leadership updates and communications

We want to hear from you if you are: 

  • 5-7+ overall experience, ideal candidate will have experience with Partnerships and Corporate Development in a Strategy Consulting or similar professional services firm
  • Experience in a highly visible and strategic management function within a top-tier consulting or technology firm a plus
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to prioritize in an ever changing/evolving landscape
  • Outstanding energy and confidence, with strong executive presence and ability to influence and manage ‘360’ relationships
  • Strong project management skills, able to collaborate, coordinate and drive outcomes across varied stakeholders
  • Exceptional writing and presentation development skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable and confident working in a virtual and distributed team across global time zones and cultures, a must
  • Open minded, mature and team-oriented
  • Proficiency across Microsoft 365 suite especially Co-pilot, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Alteryx and PowerBI a plus
  • University degree (MBA preferred but not required)
