Job description 

The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide administrative and project-based support for an assigned Partner as well as to support firm building and business development activities. Support is often confidential in nature. You are wearing a dual head and will act as the administrative point person for one Partner and may support projects within his/her management’s responsibility. The position requires a thorough knowledge of leadership’s and senior level consultants’ accountabilities and business needs. The Executive Assistant is expected to maintain a working knowledge of the firm and its industry and service practices. The position regularly and customarily exercises discretion and independent judgment in performing work. This role is based in Chicago, IL and requires in-office presence 1-2 days/week.

Key responsibilities 

 

·       Complete weekly expense reports on behalf of assigned partner.

·       Arrange travel on behalf of one assigned partner and any necessary foreign visas.

·       Schedule meetings as requested for assigned partner and/or practice.

·       Coordinate all necessary meeting logistics.

·       Support conference logistics as required.

·       Conduct research for special project needs, such as to create board member maps of global and regional accounts.

·       Attend and participate in administrative team meetings and other office-wide meetings and events.

·       Plan and manage day-of logistics for client marketing events, creating content, working with external vendors, designing custom merchandise, and tracking data in Salesforce.

·       Implement Salesforce initiatives and protocols for global marketing teams through email communications, global content calls, and collaboration with global marketing directors.

·       Conducted market research on industry trends for leadership discussions and campaign creation.

·       Support on project based marketing work.

·       Have a college degree and/or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

·       Have at least 3-5 years of experience of senior-level executive support or equivalent.

·       Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.

·       Are energetic, organized and have a great attention to detail and high-quality standards.

·       Are able to interact effectively at all levels and have a high level of professionalism.

·       Are discrete in handling sensitive or confidential information, with strict adherence to confidentiality and protection of firm and intellectual property.

·       Are forward-thinking and able to identify potential issues or roadblocks.

·       Consistently demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and flexibility to achieve work goals.

·       Independently manage tasks and provide high-quality deliverables.

·       Are able to work well under pressure.

·       Have excellent analytical skills and strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

·       Have first experience in using Salesforce

Executive Assistant Compensation - $74k-$84k: It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitivenessIn addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
