About the job

 

As the senior public relations officer for our Abu Dhabi office, you will be responsible for carrying out the official processing, collection, and submission of government applications and legal documentation in a timely and accurate manner. These include but are not limited to: UAE employment and visit visas, KSA visas, trade licenses, and special visa programs such as the Golden Visa. This role plays a key role in safeguarding the company's compliance with immigration laws and regulations, ensuring that all employees and dependents maintain legal status at all times. Additionally, the position supports broader HR and government relations strategies by maintaining up-to-date regulatory knowledge and acting as a liaison with key government entities.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager in Dubai, you will be given the freedom to be yourself along with recognition for what you bring to the table, allowing you make a real impact and be a true Kearney Original. 

Key responsibilities 

 

          Submit and coordinate all residency visa applications in Abu Dhabi for employees.

          Submit and coordinate all residency visa applications in DIFC and AUH for employee’s dependents.

          Coordinate renewal of Abu Dhabi and DIFC employees’ dependent residency visas in timely manner

          Assist Senior PRO in UAE residency visa renewals

          Coordinate and timely execute UAE residency visa cancelations in Abu Dhabi for employees.

          Coordinate and timely execute UAE residency visa cancelations in DIFC for employees’ dependents.

          Bring employees and dependents to medical tests, biometrics etc. whenever required

          Assist Senior PRO in KSA visa processing if required

          Assist with regional visit visa application

          Be able to submit visa application visa portals, Immigration, Labor and DIFC

          Assist with renewal of corporate trade licenses

          Coordinate health insurance additions in deletions in timely manner

          Collect corporate post from local post office

          Handle the end-to-end processing and submission of Golden Visa applications, including Company policy update, employees’ communications, eligibility checks, documentation, and coordination with relevant UAE authorities

          Monitor and track Emiratization quotas to ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and government targets

          Liaise with ministries and government departments for regulatory updates, legal compliance, and audit preparations

          Build and maintain strong working relationships with immigration, labor, municipality, and other key government entities

          Support government inspections, audits, and ensure alignment with corporate policies and local laws

          Provide strategic guidance on complex or escalated government relations matters

          Maintain updated records of all PRO-related documentation and compliance trackers

          Prepare and submit regular reports to HR and management on visa status, government-related expenses, Golden Visa processing, Emiratization quota updates, and overall compliance metrics

We want to hear from you if you: 

       Have a background in UAE (Abu Dhabi and DIFC) Labor Law with strong knowledge of Immigration rules and regulations

       Have 3+ years of relevant work experience in a multinational environment.

       Have prior experience in Golden VISA, Company licenses and local Ministries requirements.

       Have prior experience in DIFC is an advantage

       Possess good verbal & written English skills, Arabic is a plus

       Have strong time management, networking, and interpersonal skills

       Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications

       Have experience using portal systems (e.g., Immigration, DIFC portals)

       Are Familiar with smart government applications, e-dirham, and e-Government platforms

       Have (must) hold a valid UAE driving license

       Have ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a challenging, fast-paced, and growth environment.

       Have ability to communicate with all levels of staff; displays customer service-oriented behavior.

       Have appropriate discretion handling confidential information and personal data.

       Possess strong attention to detail.
