We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is central to the successful execution of reporting cycles, forecasting processes, and strategic efforts across the organization. The analyst will be responsible for owning key recurring deliverables, maintaining and improving core financial models and processes, and serving as a bridge between regional finance teams and corporate stakeholders.
In this role, you'll work hands-on with reporting systems to consolidate and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across units and regions. You will also support executive-level deliverables—including performance decks and shareholder presentations—and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
The Jr. Financial Analyst plays an essential role in supporting the FP&A team by assisting with forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop a strong foundation in corporate finance.
We want to hear from you if you:
Hold an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required
Have 3-4 years of experience in a financial analysis role
Eager to learn new tasks and enable the learning of others
Motivated team player with a high level of self-motivation
Have strong written and verbal communication as well as listening skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in SAP, Anaplan, and PowerBI is a plus
Key responsibilities:
Planning and Forecasting (~30% of role):
Support the consolidation of quarterly forecast cycles and develop reports for Kearney’s leadership
Support annual financial plan consolidation process and reporting
Create files to track our total firm plan transfers during the planning process and communicate with our finance systems team to ensure changes are reflected correctly in system
Month-End Close Processes (~30% of role):
Review total firm’s P&L’s after month-end close, run consolidation files, and coordinate with other firm stakeholders to understand key variances vs. expectations
Develop monthly performance deck to share with Kearney’s leadership
Reporting and Analysis (~30% of role):
Analyze monthly performance and develop reporting packages to senior leadership including Board committees with key and actionable insights
Manage PowerBI reporting dashboards with eye towards continuous improvement
Assemble presentations on historical and projected firm performance for internal and external parties
Other Analyses (~10% of role):
Support with ad-hoc analysis and processes aligned with leadership’s priorities on diverse finance topics

Jr. Financial Analyst compensation range: $70k-80k. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
